10 Killer Ways to Promote Your New MLM Program

Terrible isn't it?
You just joined this wonderful new MLM and you're rearing to go! Then you think... go where and how?? Here are 10 ways to promote your MLM that'll get you started on the way to your first recruits
1. Free classifieds - Though not as great as they once were, if your MLM program is free to join you will get some takers. The trick is to keep posting often and keep your ad up there.
2. Ezine Ads - These are cost effective and very targeted so you don't waste your advertising dollars. Use classified ads if you have a small budget and don't place any ads in ezines you haven't read.
3. Your Optin List - Even if you have a small optin list, this is a great source for your first MLM affiliates. If you don't have one start one right away.
4. PPCs - The Pay Per Click Search Engines is a good way to get leads but prepare to spend alittle. It's very important to switch up your ads because many people use the same ones.
5. Exit Pop - You can use an exit pop up to promote your MLM, just place it on any pages getting traffic right now.
6. Articles - Writing an article makes good search engine food plus, you can submit it to ezines for even more free exposure.
7. Free Ebook - Sometimes all it takes is one good free ebook to increase your traffic like crazy. You can include your MLM sign up link and let it fly.
8. Forum Sig/E-mail sig - Make up a small 5 line ad and put it at the bottom of your posts and mails. You'd be surprised at how this one thing adds up.
9. Join Traffic Exchanges - Free traffic exchanges like traffic swarm let you place your ad free into their network so you can get alot of visitors daily targeted by catagory.
10. Trade Ads with an MLM Ezine Publisher - If you own an ezine you can ad swap with him, just make sure the subscribe page has an ad for your new program.
Use these steps to start you off on your new venture and teach them to your recruits. You'll soon have a florishing downline you can be proud of.

5 Steps Of Networking At An Event

Most of us go to networking events to make new contacts and to maintain our existing relationships. Both are equally important. Some people only want to expand their network and tend to neglect their existing contacts. Others don’t know how to approach new people, feel uncomfortable doing so or feel ‘guilty’ when they leave the groups they already belong for a long time to.Here are 5 steps of attending a network event that can help both groups make the most of it:
Step 1: Preparation
Most people don’t prepare for an event. But they do complain afterwards, saying that they wasted their time or didn’t meet the right people. So before attending an event, ask yourself following questions: what is my goal at the event? Who do I want to meet? And is this event the best place to meet these people? Is there enough time for networking? And who are the organisers?
Step 2: Making contact
This is what most people find the most difficult part: making contact with other people, especially if this is a whole new situation or event. Here are some tips:• Ask a question about something you have both in common. There are always at least 3 things: location, theme/speaker and organisation.• Have yourself introduced to new people by someone you already know. If you’re new, ask the organisation to introduce you. They are there for you!• The most important thing is to start talking to each other. Just start. Nobody is there to judge you and almost everyone welcomes new contacts. But many people feel uncomfortable approaching someone else. If you take the first step yourself they will be grateful !
Step 3: Having a conversation
After you have established contact, how can you go for a real conversation?• Ask open questions (starting with how, what, when, where, who). This will give you more information to ask other questions and to get to know the other person.• Ask what is specific or typical about the other person or the organisation that he/she represents. This helps you to remember the other person better.• Focus on the other person: let him/her talk more than you do yourself.
Step 4: Ending the conversation
At an event you and the person you are talking to are both there to meet new people and maintain existing relationships. So it’s OK to end the conversation after approximately 15 minutes. You don’t have to stick together the whole event. But how do you do that?• Thank the other person for the conversation• See if you can help each other further. If this is the case, exchange business cards.• Introduce the other person to other people in the room and/or ask to be introduced to someone else.
Step 5: Follow up
Whatever your goal at the event was, the results are in the follow up. However, this is the part that most people forget to do. Some things to keep in mind:• The follow up doesn’t start a few days after you have met, but DURING the conversation. Look for commonalities, interests and ways to help the other person. This gives you input to follow up and to start building your relationship.• Schedule time in your agenda to do follow up actions.• Don’t hard sell on people afterwards nor pass their business cards to a call center to do this. Build a personal relationship instead! Good luck at your next event !

Network Marketing - Its All About Customers

Leadership, Visualization, Goal-setting, blah, blah...
All network marketers have heard that jargon at one time or another. But you know what? It's just that - Jargon.
When you share with your team, the lessons you have learnt while building your business - that's Leadership.
When you imagine that new car or house on the beach, that you're going to buy next year with the income from your business - now that's Visualization.
And when you plan exactly how you're going to go about getting that new car or house - well, that's Goal-setting.
It's that simple...
And yet people complicate it so much that they write entire books, and have entire courses to teach you these "skills."
But they're missing the whole point, really. Because network marketing is really about customers.
Think about it.
Why do companies get into network marketing? DUH. To sell products, of course!
And why do they choose to sell their products through network marketing?
Because network marketing is really the most efficient way of selling products.
After all it's all about people selling (or recommending) products they USE to their own network of friends and acquaintances. To people who TRUST them.
So if you want to serve your customers better through your network marketing business, here are a few things to ask yourself.
1. Are you in the service business or recruitment business?
If you are in the business of helping people - whether to become healthier, or financially independent - you should consider yourself as providing a service. And a service runs on customers.
Sure, there are plenty of people out there who want to start a home business or join a business opportunity.
But if you focus on the opportunity, you'll be competing with a whole lot of other, more established networking companies, for a new prospect's time and money.
Instead, if you focus on your products (and I'm assuming they are unique, excellent products that meet a real need), you'll have very little competition.
Besides, it's so much easier to sell a product than to sell a dream.
2. Is your product right for them?
I've seen people recommending their products to customers as a "miracle" solution to all their problems. This is not only misleading, but is bound to backfire.
Ask yourself - are there other options for my customers? Are there cheaper, perhaps more effective options, that can help them?
Perhaps they can't afford your product right now. Or perhaps there are other, albeit less effective options, that might meet their immediate needs better.
Almost everyone needs to get healthier, or richer. But how they choose to achieve their goals should be their choice, not yours.
Certainly, give your customers all the information they need about your products. It's not your duty to suggest alternatives.
But sometimes the best way you can serve them is by letting them know that they are free to explore their options and get back to you when they've decided that your product meets their needs best.
You'll not only have a grateful customer, but also build trust and goodwill. Your customer will think of you as someone to depend on, and come back to you when they need advice.
Yes, you might lose a customer, but you'll have gained a friend.
3. Do they really need the business opportunity?
Once you get a new customer, do you instantly start shoving the business opportunity down their throat? If so, you're doing them a disservice.
Yes, do show your customer how they can reduce (or even completely recover) their costs by becoming a distributor and recommending the products to their friends.
Offer them what they want - a cheaper way to purchase your products.
But also accept that some of them may just want to keep buying products without ever building a business.
And appreciate them for contributing to your paycheck.
Ultimately all business is about building trust. So the next time you process an order or answer a query, focus on building a relationship, rather than a business.
If you're a friend to your customer and do what's right for them, you can be secure in the knowledge that what goes around will definitely come around.

Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing: The Good The Bad And The Ugly

Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing: The Good The Bad And The Ugly

The Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing are many.
A few Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing are:
* It's on the internet so it's low cost
* Very fast
* And you can reach a global audience
However it:
* Can leave the businessman feeling isolated
* Hard to tell if people are lying because you can't see their face
* And you can be overloaded with information.
There are more Advantages Disadvantages Of Internet Marketing, but I wont cover them all in one article. However I will focus on a few important ones.
Positives:
Low cost:
The internet is made up of electrons, so there is not really anything physically to grab hold of like in a brick and mortar business. This considerably reduces your costs as you don't really need many materials or buildings. Just a computer with world wide web capabilities : )
Very fast:
A great advertisement I saw once said "If you were an electron, you would be there by now". This was an ad at an airport. It's referring to the internet. It's made up of electrons so it's VERY fast. Click a link, and you could be looking at an Australian website, click another one and you could be in America. If you wanted to get information any other way from these countries, you may end up having to go there. The world wide web eliminates the need for this. Go any where you want with the click of a button.
You can reach a global audience:
By this I mean, you don't have to set up shop somewhere and sell to the locals. You can set up an online shop, and sell to anyone in the world. This means a huge increase in potential revenues and a fraction of the cost it would take for you to set up shops all over the world.
Negatives:
Can leave the businessman feeling isolated:
This is very common. Because the world wide web is faceless (In most cases), it can appear cold and inhuman. This can leave you feeling isolated and very inward. Not a nice feeling at all. Everyone likes to socialize and meet people, but in this case, its quite difficult to, in business anyway.
Hard to tell if people are lying:
There is so much information on the world wide web now, it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between crap and quality. A lot of the crap is targeted at newbies. Here's an example "Make money fast by doing NOTHING", sound familiar? I bet you've had a ton of emails saying something similar.
Information Overload:
Once again we get to the part of there being a lot of information on the world wide web. There can be too much good information too. There can be a lot of competition for an industry, this can leave you more confused than if there were presented with loads of crap. You might not be able to tell who to chose. If you are a veteran of the net, you wont have much to worry about, however if you're a newbie then this is a problem.
The above are the positive and the negatives. Overall, I would definitely say that if you can do business online, then definitely do it.

Honestly Good!

Recently, I have been doing a lot of research on AFFILIATE MARKETING.
While doing a Google search,I came across this very reasonably priced E-book.
I decided to purchase it and give it a try.
To be honest,I think it is really worth it.This E-book is written by Holly Beth Mann ,
a 25-year-old Entrepreneur, single-mom (of a 2 1/2 year old boy)
and a person who loves life and helping others.
She began working online a few years ago when she was pregnant
and in a tight financial situation.
Honest Riches 2 is certainly for beginners, complete newbies. And thank goodness I was right. I bought Honest Riches 2 and found the information inside to be of EXCELLENT quality.
I strongly recommend you click here to take a look at her website for yourself.

The Home Meeting

You can invite a group of people to your home to show the plan. Once a home meeting is booked,we should show the plan irrespective of the number of people present.

  • Get help from your sponsor or upline in inviting people.
  • Invite twice as many people as you want to come to the meeting. This is because some of the people who say they will come will not turn up.Don't be dissapointed.
  • Be excited.
  • Ensure you have enough literature available for the people to read.
  • Dress should be business casuals.
  • Remember, this is a business meeting. There should no alcohol, pets, televion or children disrupting the meeting.
  • Put fewer chairs than necessary, but have extra chairs available.
  • Greet people at the door.Edify the speaker.
  • START THE MEETING ON TIME.
  • Introduce the speaker enthusiastically.Set an example by being the most interested person in the room.
  • Keep as little refreshments as possible and serve them after the meeting.
Allow the spaker to do the talking and answer any questions.
  • DON'T FORGET TO SET UP FOLLOW UP MEETINGS WITH THE PROSPECTS WHO COME TO THE MEETING.

SHOWING THE PLAN

The purpose of showing the plan is to show the prospects how they can fulfil
their dreams by utilising the sales and marketing plan. The magic is to keep it simple, brief and to the point.
FOUR WAYS TO SHOW THE PLAN
1.The overview
2.The one-on-one meeting
3.Home Meeting
4.Open Meeting

First,we'll talk about the overview and the one-on-one meeting
1.The Overview. Here the main focus is to create curiosity,so that the prospect wants to set another meeting to see the plan.We mainly talk about what can be achieved through the business.
2.One-on-One:Meet the person or couple individually to show the plan.
One should take the help of the sponsor or 'upline' in the beginning.
The following points should be taken care of:

  • The plan can be shown at the prospects' home or your home
  • Always dress nicely, preferably smart casuals.
  • Be on time.
  • Edify your sponsor if he/she is showing the plan.Let him/her do the talking.
The golden rule is,"KEEP IT SIMPLE".
  • If time permits, show them a vcd as suggested by your sponsor.
  • Don't forget to leave some material for a follow up and schedule the next appointment as soon as possible.
  • Don't answer all their questions in one meeting.Tell them they fill find their answers in the material provided.
  • Encourage them to start the business right away.Inform them about whatever money back guarantee there is on the business.

The Strategy of your Inviting Scripts

These are just examples of what I have found useful when inviting people for a home/open house meeting.
1.Keep it short. You can say something like,” I don’t have much time right now but let me tell you why I called.”
2. Compliment them naturally. “The other day when I met you,I was impressed with your attitude (handling of the situation, smile, confidence etc.)
3. Disclose the reason.“I don’t know if I mentioned it but I own a business which is expanding rapidly”
4. Qualify them. “I am looking for a few, key ambitious people to help us expand. Are you open to having an additional source of income.”
5. The take away.“I can’t promise you that this will work out but why don’t you and I get together and we will run through some ideas and see where it goes”
6.The close.“Which day of the week is suitable?I am free on Tuesday and Friday evening.Which day is best for you?”

Contacting and Inviting

It is very necessary to learn the proper way to invite people
as this is what will decide whether they wish to see your
company's plan or not.
Knowing the right technique is very important. One should sit with their uplines to learn the do's and don't's of inviting.
Inviting Techniques
You can invite people on your own or take the help of your " upline'.
The meeting can be a simple home meeting or an 'open house'
meeting which is usually arranged at a bigger venue.A successful
leader presents the plan to a larger audience and these meetings
are very successful in bringing in new people.
As I said earlier,using F.O.R.M.(acronym for Family,Occupation,Recreation
and Money/Message) is useful in starting conversations.
Here I would like to mention that your posture is very important.
Please remember that you are NOT just selling them some vitamins, skin care or home products. What you have to sell is FREEDOM.
You are offering people an opportunity to become their own boss and control their own destiny. You don't need these people. They need you!
Next I will be discussing The Strategy of Inviting Scripts.

Prospecting Tips

As your business begins to grow,it becomes even more important to add new prospects to your list so that you never run out of people. For this, you need to learn the art of meeting new people. My suggestion to you is to seek the help of your sponsor or 'upline'.
They can teach you how easy it is.
Prospecting tips:

  • Listen to audio tapes of successful leaders in the business.
  • Go out with your sponsor or upline and take their help when required.
  • Try to add people who are at your socio-economic level or above you.
  • Make a habit of speaking to people wherever you go.
  • Set yourself a target everyday. The more number of people you meet, the more comfortable you will become in prospecting.
  • Show a genuine interest in people.Compliment them. However,do it naturally.
  • Use F.O.R.M. (acronym for Family,Occupation,Recreation,Money/Message) to get people talking about themselves.
  • Your business card should always be with you.Have a pen and small notepad or a digital diary handy to note down their number.

I hope you find these tips useful.Happy Prospecting!

Let’s Begin with the Basics

Number one is Prospecting ( LIST Building)
If you put your marketing plan in front of people (Prospects),some of them will
join. Some will develop a big business, some will develop a small business.
But before we can start building the business,we must have a LIST of people
to whom we can show our marketing plan.
I am often asked,”Where do I get my list of people?”
Well, the good news is that you don’t have to start with a list of a thousand names!
Look around you and think of the millions of people who have the potential to build a huge multi-million dollar business.
My suggestion is to take the help of your ‘sponsor’(the person who brought you into the business) in making a list of names.
First, make a LIST of people you already know well.Call these your ‘PRIMARY PROSPECTS’.

My humble request to you is not to prejudge anyone by way of their background, present status or how rich or poor they are.You have to understand that this business is for everyone. All kinds of people, from doctors to lawyers to businessmen to housewives are succeeding in this business. If YOU don’t show someone this business, sooner or later someone else will!
As you get more familiar with the working of the business, you will meet more and more people.Call these your SECONDARY PROSPECTS.Keep adding names to this
LIST
as you make new friends. This could well turn out to be your biggest list.
Finally,I suggest you have three lists:
1) The Local List:This is your initial list and you will be working on this in the beginning. This is a list of people you are familiar with and who live at a comfortable distance from your home.
2) Distance List: This list will comprise of people who live further away, say more than 200 kms. Once you have gained in confidence ,you can begin to develop the business from this list.
The International List: Most of the reputed home businesses have a global presence. Therefore, there is a possibility of ‘sponsoring’ people from other countries as well.

In my next post,I will give you some PROSPECTING TIPS.

Are You Fired Up?

So many people are trapped in jobs they hate. Jobs that provide them with no sense of accomplishment, satisfaction or challenge. In due time, they become resigned to their fate: lack of money, lack of time. Even the dreams of a different lifestyle become remote and are gradually forgotten.' Resignation' sets in.
As a physician with over 20 years in practice, this is what happened to me. I had lapsed into life's resignation. Although I am comfortably off, I earn my living from day to day. If I worked my hours, I got paid. If not, I didn’t. I had resigned myself to the 'fact' that I am a physician and this is all I could do.It has its finer moments but I felt I was missing something. I no longer felt a spark for my work .It had become a job ,a drudgery for me.Get up in the morning ,get ready, have my breakfast, go the clinic everydaySee patients, sometimes even those who ruin my entire day.Monotonous routine with no passion.
Then came Network Marketing.Network Marketing has given me something I had forgotten all about.
Passion, desire and the ability to live a life of choice!

Network Marketing as a Way to Generate Passive Income

"Robert Kiyosaki recognized that network marketing is an effective, powerful way to move products and services. Network marketing greatly utilizes LEVERAGE, which is what makes network marketing such an effective business model. People can now make more money in a shorter time, not relying solely on their own efforts. Network Marketing has the BEST leveraging power in generating passive income.

Network marketing is very reasonable for people that don't have big capital. Opening your own business or franchising a business could cost you a fortune, but network marketing usually costs very little to start. You can always find a good network marketing company and stick with the company for 5 years. There you can learn how to build your network and achieve Financial Freedom.

The Concept of Two Kinds of Income

In today's world, money plays a very important role in people's lives. But very few people REALLY understand money.
The concept of what making money means is not taught in schools and universities.
Did you know that there are two kinds of income-ACTIVE and PASSIVE?Most people are familiar with active income.
This is what we make when we exchange our time for money. You could be a doctor,an employee or even a small time business owner. They make money as long as they work.
This income depends on the number of hours you can work.
No one can replace you.As a doctor,I have felt this time and again.
Whenever I have been unwell or away on important assignments, my ACTIVE income has stopped!
But what about PASSIVE INCOME?
The definition of traditional passive income is "income generated with minimal work from your investments such as interest, dividends, or real estate rentals".
Passive income is defined as income you generate without actually being involved in the actions that generate the income. In other words, it does not require your direct involvement. You can be sick, go on vacation, and still generate income, as the income will not stop just because you’re not there!
Passive income will allow you to multiply your revenue without having to multiply your work.

WHICH INCOME WILL YOU PREFER-PASSIVE or ACTIVE?

Things to look for in a Network Marketing Program

Network Marketing Companies abound by the thousands. A lot of people have joined network-marketing programs and made lots of money from their efforts. Anybody with ambition and energy can probably find a company that suits them and join it and eventually attain financial freedom.
However, we must remember that this is a business and like any other business, one must put forth effort to achieve your goals. There are some things to consider before signing on the dotted line
First, be sure of the Network Marketing Company you join. Make sure that it is all that it claims to be. Make sure that you are actually promoting a product or service. If you get paid more for recruiting than you do for selling, then it could be a pyramid scheme.. Make sure that the company has a good record and that it will not only make regular payments to you, but also that it is going to be around for a long time.
Secondly, be sure that the product you are promoting has mass appeal- that is something that all people will want. Does it sell itself? Will people be making a beeline for you to purchase this product? You should make sure to have such a product because that will make your efforts a lot easier.
Making money with a network-marketing program isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. JUST FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS!

Build People. People will build your business.

These were the first two sentences spoken to me by my upline. And you know what? He was so right!People are the cornerstone of network marketing. Not sales, not products but.......PEOPLE!

Remember this.

My Reasons Revisited

It all began about 3 years ago.I have a fairly successful family practice of eighteen years standing. I used to think that having my own practice with a regular 'clientele' was a very good thing indeed!Life was good.I have a loving wife and two great kids, a girl (now in college) and a boy who is still in school. We are, by present standards in my country,an upper middle class family (whatever that means!) with a double income.Oh,did I forget to tell you that my wife teaches in a very good boarding school?
So,you get the picture? A small family, the couple doing well in their respective fields, two well brought up kids, the family car, gizmos, vacations, even a family dog.Sounds good so far.
Except for one thing.DEBT!Loads of it.Tons of it.I don't know about you,but I definitely feel we are living in this make believe world where one has this false sense of security. You know where you have that feeling that NOTHING can go wrong with us.We imagine we will work for maybe 30-40 years and then enjoy the fruits of our labor.Have a beautiful home, relax in the sun,go on a world tour ,whatever. And then you realise that unless YOU do something about it,
IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!
That's what happened to me.I read somewhere that if you do the same things every day you can't expect different results.I guess it's true.
Here I am.Upto my neck in the stuff. You know, DEBT.Credit cards, personal loans, property loans, you name it ,I have it.And one thing is for sure. There are a lot of people like me out there.
They just find it hard to admit that they are neck deep in it.
That is when one medical salesman walked into my chamber and introduced me to the concept of network marketing.

Find Your Reasons:The Rest Will Follow

By nature I am a very quiet person:
I would rather keep to myself and be in front of a computer screen than in a
group of 2 or more people, or even talking to someone that I don’t know for that
matter. I am not shy;. If I don’t have to meet new people, that's fine with me!

However, this past weekend things changed in me.
No, I didn't turn into a friendly social butterfly; But my mindset ; it
underwent a sea-change. I can't put my finger on it - but this seminar I
attended over the weekend, really did something to me.
I learnt principals and tactics that could be applied in a practical way to make a
lot of money.
Before this past weekend I would have been
satisfied if I were making $3,000 a week with whatever business I was into. Not
to say that that’s bad money - most families can probably live on that amount
very comfortably. It’s not because of greed:
I HAVE FOUND SOME REASONS TO DO IT!

Your Happiness is Up to You

Now,this is very important to know if one has to
do well in Network Marketing
and I quote:

The biggest myth about happiness is when people say that it is not legitimate or correct for you to put your happiness ahead of everyone else's. Throughout my life, I've met people who have said that it is more important to make other people happy than it is to make yourself happy.
This is nonsense.
The fact is that you can't give away to anyone
else what you don't have for yourself. Just as you can't give money to the poor
if you don't have any, you can't make someone else happy if you yourself are miserable.
The very best way to assure the happiness of others is to be happy yourself and then to share your happiness with them. Suffering and self-sacrifice merely depress and discourage other people. If you want to make others happy, start by living the kind of life and doing the kind
of things that make you happy."

What Then is Network Marketing?

It could be called, "Referral Marketing." I'm always referring people to a movie, a book, a restaurant and I've never been paid for the advertising. Paul Pilzer says that as product lines expand, large corporations find that they have reached the limits of their capacity to educate consumers about the new products. They are discovering that the person-to-person approach of network marketing is a perfect fit for their growth needs.

What is a pyramid scheme/

What is a pyramid scheme? A money making system that creates income from getting people involved in the business and not selling a real product or service. Unfortunately for MLM businesses that means many of them. The Government declared quite a few years ago that the difference between a pyramid scheme and a legitimate MLM is based on the product and how people are sold.

If people are sold a real product or service with the ability of making money off of reselling it as a benefit, it is a legal MLM program. If people are recruited into the business with hopes of making a lot of money off of getting other people involved, while selling a poor product, that is a pyramid scheme or illegal MLM.

Some of the really bad pyramid schemes even go one step further. They don't even have a real product or service at all. Getting people signed up is all they do. Oh, of course most of them will claim that they are not a pyramid scheme but that is, of course, not true. It's all about the product.

List of hated Internet words includes “Blog”

Now this is really interesting!

The Agence France Presse (AFP) reports that blog, netiquette, cookie, and wiki have been voted among the most irritating words spawned by the Internet, according to a poll done by YouGov. On top of the list is folksonomy, a term for web classification system. Blogosphere is second, while the term blog is third, followed by netiquette. Cookie and wiki were also included.

YouGov questioned 2,091 adults earlier this month for the poll commissioned by the Lulu Blooker Prize, a literary award for books.

10 Ways to Make More Money in Network Marketing

10 Ways To Make More Money In Network Marketing

Network Marketing is an excellent way for the person to make an extra income. This business concept has been around for decades, and it will not disappear any time soon. The reason for its popularity is simple... It Works! It does however, require lots of work and most importantly, dedication and persistance to get the job done. The best part is, once you are able to set up a solid network, your business becomes MUCH less time intensive. Almost like going on "autopilot". The key is to get there as fast as possible.

Here are just a couple of tips I have found to be helpful in maximizing your Network Marketing Business:

1. Use your products regularly. This is Number 1 for a reason, this is the most ignored part of ANY network marketing business. How do you expect your business to succeed if you will not even use your own products? It does seem silly to even have to bring this up, but there are many who are not using their own products, and wonder why they are not making any money. Make a commitment to use your products for a year, and see where your business goes.

2. Educate yourself constantly. This is very important! You must rid yourself of negative ideas, sometimes referred to as "stinkin thinkin". This can be done in a variety of ways. I recommend reading at least 15 minutes a day, but try to shoot for 30. Business and self-help books are a great way to start. Don't forget your Multi-level magazines, as they are full of tips and advice. Lastly, listen to cassette tapes on multi-level tips from top earners in your business.

3. Spend as much time as possible with your upline. Your upline should have only one goal in mind, To Help You Succeed! They are a vast source of knowledge and information. Mingle with top distributors in your group, or other groups, and ask how they made it. Most everyone should be more than happy to provide you with excellent tips and advice.

4. Present your products and marketing plan personally to at least one person daily. Remember above when I said you are going to have to work, well here it is. Now here is the key, the prospects to whom you present your plan, do not have to be yours personally. Show the plan for your downline, and not only will you create "security" by placing members in your downlines' downline, it will also give you a boost in your personal income! I can guarantee if you were to follow this rule for 6 months, you would create a downline with enough width and depth to create an income to sustain you and your family for life.

5. Care for your downline. An entire book can be written on this topic. Usually, it's the little things that show you really care. Try to maintain regular contact, and always praise your distributor's accomplishments. You can even offer incentives for specific achievements, such as money, travel, recognition, or other rewards, to help motivate your group.

6. Duplicate yourself by making distributors independent of you. This will help to multiply your time, thus making you and your group more effective. Always lead by
example. Never stop recruiting, training and retailing. Remember the KISS formula - "Keep It Simple, Sweety" I know, I know, I changed the last word, but it maintains the meaning. This can be done my conducting simple, brief, yet dramatic presentations, and teaching your downline to do the same.

7. Create a large customer base. This is another largely ignored, yet very important, piece of your network marketing business. Many try so hard to build a huge downline, that they forget how much profit they could also make by selling their products to retail customers. Some people will just not want to become part of your downline, no matter how great a product/system you may have. This does not mean they will not be personally interested in your product. Try to make everyone your customer. Once you earn their trust, they will come to you more, and perhaps even join your downline later. Always "leave the door open", as people's needs do change.

8. Focus on your customers needs. You must give customers more than they expect, and always satisfy your customers complaints immediately. Try to listen 80% of the time, and talk only 20%. As stated above, your customers can be a huge source of future referrals and/or business. You must earn and maintain their trust. Once you have their trust, you can always ask for referrals, which leads to even more business and a larger downline.

9. Set daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals - and Write Them Down! You may have heard the expression, "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time." Breaking up a larger goal into smaller easily attainable goals, is the key to success. You cannot just jump to the end, you have to make progress everyday. Writing them down is another largely ignored, important tip to help you succeed. A goal is just a "passing thought", or "wish" until you put it in writing. That is when it becomes concrete and real. It is also a great idea to keep a business journal of your daily activities, as it will help you to become more productive and time-conscious.

10. Get Out There And Do It Now! All of the knowledge in the world is useless and unprofitable, until you put the most important ingredient of them all in place. This "secret" ingredient should come as no surprise at all, but this is the #1 reason for failure at anything in life. It is ACTION! Remember, knowledge is useless without action.

I Guess I'll Give it a Try (so I said)

Well, where was I ? Oh,yes,to join or not to join that is the question.(pardon me,Shakes)
What the hell! I thought I may as well give it a go.
This was in February of last year. My "sponsor"was very helpful.
He still is.
YOU KNOW WHAT! I'VE NEVER LOOKED BACK SINCE!
As one of the motivational speakers said during a seminar "It's a whole package deal".
These guys are good. Your thinking begins to change along the way.At least that is what has happened to me.From being someone who was pretty negative ,you know, the kind of person who sees the BAD in everything,I've changed man!
To be honest, I'm still honing my skills as far as my earnings go.
But where I've really been helped is in my interpersonal relationships.Dealing with people has become easier. My tolerance levels have gone up.
Subtle changes in behavior leading to a more positive outlook to life.
What about the MONEY?
I guess as I learn the ropes, that too will come.

Network Marketing - What is it?

What is network marketing?
Many of you might be asking yourself a question: what is network marketing? To describe what it is, it is necessary to describe what in includes. First of all, you are building a marketing network to promote some product or service. You will be creating a network marketing strategy, which will define how marketing network is created and what are the activities you will do to build the marketing network.
It is the most profitable to do the network marketing online. Internet allows you to build a larger marketing network that you will be able to use more effectively. The network marketing strategy still needs to be created for the online marketing network. You should study the available network marketing tip or tips before you write your network marketing strategy.

You should look online to find network marketing tip or tips. It is a good idea to study someone else's network marketing strategy and see if there are any network marketing tip or tips that can be learnt from there. Also look at the companies that have already built their marketing network, whether it is an online marketing network or regular marketing network. Each network marketing tip will be useful for you when you are creating your own network marketing strategy.
Marketing network: what's next?
After you have created your network marketing strategy, you can start building your marketing network by collecting prospective clients' contact information and informing your marketing network clients about your products or services. Remember each network marketing tip that you found as it will definitely help you.

Some Pearls of wisdom

Network marketing has many aspects, but promotion, persistence, and patience are three key elements which are critical to achieving successful results.
PROMOTION is the lifeblood of network marketing. You must constantly strive to get your offering in front of a targeted audience.
There are thousands of published sources that deal with specific methods of network marketing (both online and offline), but the key point to be made here is that you must have an active promotion campaign designed to bring in a steady stream of new prospective downline members.
PERSISTENCE is a key element in network marketing success. You've got to keep on even though frustration levels can be quite high at times.
After you have been at it a while, and have a downline large enough to provide reasonably accurate statistics, you will probably find that about 95% of your downline members are dormant and do nothing at all. Its easy to get down in the dumps or take it personally when you encounter so many "do nothing" people.
Therefore, it is really important work with and actively support the 5% or so that are serious about participating. And clearly, an active and effective promotion campaign will continue to bring in increasing numbers of potential participants so that while 5% is small on a percentage basis, it can still be a sizeable amount from a pure numbers standpoint.
PATIENCE is vital. You can expect that it will take about a year before the awsome power of geometric growth kicks in.
A classic illustration of geometric growth is the frequently used penny-a-day example.
If you save one penny on the first day, and double it every successive day, (day two you have 2 pennies and day three you have 4 pennies, and so on) how much will you have at the end of 30 days? The answer, to the astonishment of many, is $5,368,708! Amazing, but true.
Its a sad statistic that most network marketers fail and it is often traceable to the fact that they did not exhibit enough persistence and patience to continue constantly promoting their business for the year or so that is required for success.
Network marketers that stick with it for a year or more often end up becoming the proverbial "heavy hitters".
In closing, I would like to encourage you to increase your chances of becoming a successful network marketer by always keeping a clear focus on "the three P's" of Promotion, Persistence, and Patience

Well, time went by.

Three years in fact. The drudgery went on.

Stress at work, stress at home, screaming at the kids for no rhyme or reason.Sounds familiar does it?I can tell you it takes a heavy toll on your health, both physical and mental.

There has got to be something better!

Something that gets the old spark back.

Something that sets you on fire, brings back the passion into your life.

I couldn't put my finger on it.Not right away,anyway.

Has this ever happened to you?Where you suddenly feel lost.No purpose,no direction like a rudderless boat in the sea? That's how I felt.

Did I join? Hell,no!

Like I said,DEBTS, DEBTS, and more DEBTS.
Here was this guy, probably half my age, telling me I could be financially FREE if I followed his advice and worked at it for a couple of years. And the investment? A mere pittance.Man,I'd been working all my life and all I had achieved was bigger debts.FINANCIALLY FREE in 2 to 3 years?Ha! I thought he was nuts.
Anyway, I played along and said that I am interested. He gave me some very interesting books to read and tapes to listen to.I read the books, I heard the tapes.Very good stuff.Highly motivational, infomative stuff.
3 months went by.I had read enough books and heard enough tapes to last me a life time.
My attitude became more positive. My practice flourished. My finances improved.I had a bounce in my stride.
And then he asked me if he could be my sponsor in the network marketing business.Did I join?
HELL,NO!
